The STEM Career Fair was hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest and the Girls CHOICE program at the YWCA in Worcester. BBBSCM matches adult volunteers with youth facing adversity to provide support, consistency and friendship. My local vet took care of dogs and cats and specialized in exotic animals so I took care of all sorts of animals such as lizards, snakes, parrots and sometimes injured wild birds.

Born of a desire to create a network of girls that shared a common interest in motorcycles, Jessica thought the idea had wings, or maybe horns…or at least a life beyond Salt Lake. Jessica admits to not being a risk taker, and she also likes a certain degree of personal comfort. Both of which obviously go out the window when you agree to get on a bike and ride with someone or throw your leg over a scoot and call it your own. Or you get the bright idea to start a motorcycle group targeting women riders.

Jessica has done it on her own and hit on a combination that seems to have validated her philosophy that when you have an idea go for it – even if it takes a while. The Visibility Impact Fund is dedicated to empowering bi+ people by leveraging resources to build the capacity of bi+ movements to improve the visibil… What I love about my job is building relationships and trust with families and watching babies grow into amazing kids and adolescents is easily the best part of what I do.
